About us

We're a home bakery with no physical storefront. We hold a MEHKO license in Alameda County and provide limited number of orders each day.

What cakes do you sell?

We specialize in Asian-style, less-sweet chiffon cakes and heavy whipping cream fillings. We can also accommodate requests for Vegan cakes, sponge cakes, pond cakes, buttercream frosting and more.

Everyday cakes and fixed-design cakes can be purchased directly online.

Customized cakes, wedding cakes and other desserts requiring special designs are available through email or message consultation.

What cake flavors do you have?

Please visit the Mystery Box Cakes page for our flavor options. Every cake that is 6'' or larger includes two fillings. Additional charges apply to premium fillings. 

What's included in the cake orders?

Everyday Cakes and Mystery Box Cakes do NOT include cake accessories. Cake accessories can be purchased with your order or at pickup.

All Signature Cakes and Custom Cakes include one candle, one paper birthday hat and utensils:

-6'' cake: 5-piece utensil set

-8''cake: 10-piece utensil set

-10''cake: 15-piece utensil set

Wedding cakes do not usually include accessories unless requested. You can also purchase extra cake accessories online or at pickup.

All cakes include a free message on the cake or cake board. Please leave a note while submitting your order.

Fixed design cakes:

4'' cakes (serves 2-6) start at $28

6'' cakes (serves 6-10) start at $58

8'' cakes (serves 12-16) start at $98

10'' cakes (serves 20-28) start at $158

12'' cakes (serves 30-40) start at $228 (please contact us to order.)

Table cakes (serves 50+) start at $348

Customized cakes: minimum spending of $88

Wedding cakes: minimum spending of $150

How do I place an order?

Everyday Cakes, Mystery Box Cakes, Signature Cakes and desserts can be ordered directly from our website. 

For customized cakes and wedding cakes, please email or message us with your event date, serving size, budget range, special requirements and a few inspiration photos. We'll discuss the details and provide a quote within 24 hours.

A 30% deposit of the total quoted amount is required to reserve your date and time. The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 7 days before the event date.

For orders placed within 7 days of the event date, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

What payment methods do you accept?

Online orders can be paid by Visa, Mastercard or Discover. We also accept Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, WeChat Pay and Alipay.

For custom cakes and wedding cakes, if you would like to pay by credit card, a 3% credit card processing fee will be charged. We will send you a private link to make the payment.

Do you deliver?

We do not offer delivery unless it's for a large wedding cake. Delivery and setup are $100 within 5 miles, plus $3 for each additional mile. 

How do I pickup the order?

The pickup address is:

6021 Allium Pl, Newark, CA 94560. 

Pickup hours:

Mon.- Sun. 10:00am-8:00pm

We don't accept orders on Sundays, but you may pick up your Saturday orders in Sunday morning. Pickups are contactless. Please message us when you're on your way. When you arrive, the garage door will be opened, and your cake- labeled with your name-will be stored in the refrigerator by the garage door.

If you need extra cake accessories, you may also purchase them at pickup.

Transportation & Storage

We will make sure that your cake is securely packaged and refrigerated before pickup. Please place the cake on a flat, stable surface in your vehicle and drive carefully while transporting it.

If there is a long period of time （more than 2 hours） before the event begins, please store the cake in a refrigerator, especially during warm weather. 

Extra ice packs and insulated bags can be purchased with your order.

Cancellation and refund policies

If a cancellation is requested more than 7 days of the event date, no refund will be issued for the initial 30% deposit. However, if you paid in full, the remaining 70% will be refunded.  

Full payment is required at least 7 days before the event date. If you cancel between 3-7 days away from the event date, we will issue a 70% of the total quoted price as a store credit. 

No refund will be issued for cancellations made within 3 days of the event date.

WHY? Because we take time communicating and planning for the cake, and we take a limited number of orders each day. It compensates us for our time, materials and turning away other customers.

If there is an issue with your cake that was caused by us, please contact us as soon as possible. We will work with you to solve the issue by offering a repair, store credit or refund as appropriate. Your satisfaction is important to us.
